Jonathan Barbo

 Senior Pastor

Jonathan Barbo is the Senior Pastor at Rowland Road Baptist Church. He previously served as the church’s student pastor for 16 years and is an Iraq War Veteran. A graduate of Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Faith Bible Institute, he and his wife Ashley have been married since November 9, 2002. They are proud parents of three children: Brennon (and his wife Cameron), Elizabeth, and Addisyn. Jonathan and Ashley are also the proud grandparents of Sutton Charlotte Ann Barbo.

Norman Bryant

CONGREGATIONAL CARE PASTOR


A Vietnam Veteran, Brother Norman Bryant first became part of Rowland Road Baptist Church in 1971 as a youth and bus pastor. He and his wife, Mrs. Barbara Bryant, have dedicated many years to various ministries, including film, teaching, bus, student, and children's ministries.

YOUTH/WORSHIP PASTOR


Brennon, a lifelong member of Rowland Road Baptist Church, joined our staff full-time in 2024. He and his wife, Cameron, are dedicated parents to their daughter, Sutton. Brennon is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Leadership from Faith International University and Seminary, as well as a degree from Faith Bible Institute.

EDUCATIONAL PASTOR



Will joined our staff here at Rowland Road Baptist Church as our Associate Pastor of Education and also as the Vice President of Faith Bible Institute (FBI) in 2019.  He along with his wife, Holly, became members at Rowland Road Baptist Church that same year.

Kara Steele

CHILDREN & PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR


Kara Steele serves as our Children & Preschool Director at Rowland Road Baptist Church. Kara joined our staff as Preschool Director in 2025 and has now also stepped into the role of Children’s Director (Feb 2026).
Kara and her husband, Chris, have been part of the RRBC family since 2016 and are proud parents to their son, Micah. Kara has served in numerous areas of ministry and brings a strong, joyful vision for helping kids know Jesus, love church, and feel at home. She also serves on our Events Team—and if something needs to be created, improved, or decorated, Kara has a “make something out of nothing” gift you’ll notice fast. You can usually find her at the church working on a project…with Micah supervising.

Denise Granger

OFFICE MANAGER


Denise started attending Rowland Road Baptist Church in 2004 and became a member shortly afterwards that same year. Denise has been involved in several areas of ministry within the church in her time here. She met her husband Jon here as well, and was married in 2009.  They have a blended family of three children; Shelby, Carter and Thomas.

Ted davidson

FACILITIES MANAGER


Ted and his wife Kay have been members of Rowland Road Baptist Church since 1991.  He has been the Facilities Manager since 2014.
