A ministry-first update celebrating what God is doing through RRBC.
Church family,
Thank you for your faithful generosity, serving, and prayer. We are grateful for the ways God is working through the ministries of Rowland Road Baptist Church.
This update is simply meant to encourage our church family by sharing a few ministry snapshots and connecting generosity to the ongoing work of ministry. Numbers never tell the whole story of spiritual growth, changed lives, discipleship, or the work God is doing in hearts and minds. However, they can help us pause, give thanks, and pray with greater awareness for the ministry God has entrusted to us.
In May, we celebrated 5 baptisms and 7 people added to our church family. Since the beginning of our fiscal year in September 2025, we have recorded 9 baptisms and 29 people added to our church family. We thank God for every life, every step of obedience, and every person He continues to bring into the ministry of RRBC.
Vacation Bible School served approximately 78 children with 45+ volunteers. We are thankful for the way our church came together to serve children and families with the truth of God’s Word.
Serve Day helped prepare the campus for VBS through decorating, painting, room cleanouts, and flower bed work. Thank you to everyone who gave time and energy to help make ministry possible.
Children’s Ministry has started a new curriculum focused on helping children build a strong foundation in God’s Word. We are also thankful for 5 new faithful volunteers who have joined the children’s ministry team this year.
The homeschool co-op served approximately 75 families and around 250 people during the 2025–2026 school year. We are grateful for the opportunity to open our campus and serve families in our community.
Adult worship has been averaging approximately 180 based on current headcount estimates. We are thankful for the opportunity to gather, worship, hear God’s Word, and grow together as a church family.
We also recently received a June report of 39 professions of faith through Prison Ministry. We thank God for gospel conversations and ask the church to pray for lasting fruit, continued discipleship, and changed lives.
Financial Snapshot
The following numbers come from closed and reconciled May financials and are shared as a simple ministry-budget snapshot.
In May, RRBC received $65,990.32 in general tithes and offerings. Regular ministry-budget expenses for May were $53,061.18, meaning May giving was $12,929.14 above May ministry-budget expenses.
We are encouraged that weekly giving has increased in recent months. In January and February, weekly giving averaged approximately $9,955 per week. From March through May, weekly giving averaged approximately $12,735 per week. May alone averaged approximately $13,198 per week.
This is encouraging and has helped us continue supporting the ministries of RRBC. At the same time, through May, regular giving totaled $483,662.38, while actual ministry and operating budget expenses totaled $513,658.14. That means regular giving remains $29,995.76 below actual ministry and operating expenses year-to-date.
We are thankful for the upward trend and continue to pray that God would provide as we steward every gift faithfully.
Thank you, church family, for giving, serving, praying, and participating in the ministry of RRBC. We are grateful for what God is doing and want to continue stewarding every opportunity with humility, wisdom, and faithfulness.
Please continue to pray for gospel fruit, spiritual growth, unity, and wisdom as we seek to make disciples and serve our community.
With gratitude,
Rowland Road Baptist Church
